Eddy current sensors from Micro-Epsilon are unique among inductive measuring techniques. The powerful eddyNCDT 3001 series is specially designed for applications where conventional, inductive displacement sensors have often reached their performance limits. They offer even more flexibility too, with an M18 design with new measuring ranges now available, as well as an extremely compact M12 design.

Inductive sensors based on eddy currents with new design

The powerful eddyNCDT 3001 eddy current sensors are now also available with an M18 housing and measuring ranges of 6mm and 8mm. This enlargement provides the sensors with increased flexibility in terms of their potential applications. These temperature-compensated sensors deliver fast and precise results for a wide range of applications in all industries. Even in harsh environments where high pressures, dirt and oil are present, high precision measurements of displacement, distance and position are still possible.



New LabVIEW instrument driver 3.0 for scanCONTROL sensors

The new LabVIEW 3.0 instrument driver is now available for the scanCONTROL series of laser scanners. It’s the link between sensor and programming environment that enables direct sensor integration for further data processing. Optimization and additional features of the new driver provide ease of use and new functions. The instrument driver is offered as 32 and 64 bit versions for download.



Modern temperature monitoring in the metals industry

The thermoIMAGER TIM M1 infrared camera is designed for temperature monitoring tasks in the metal processing industry and e.g. when hardening or forming metals. For laser welding applications, special models with blocking filter are available. Furthermore, the new TIMConnect software version offers simplified handling and enhanced features.



Inspecting the embossment depth of serial numbers

Car body IDs are punched into the vehicle frame during a complex process, which enables unambiguous identification worldwide. The embossment depth is a critical quality and security feature. Due to their extremely small light spot size, optical optoNCDT 1420 sensors from Micro-Epsilon reliably detect and measure these profiles in the embossment machine. The extremely compact design of the sensors enables their application in small installation spaces too.
